COVID-19 Resources

NYTPS, Inc. coordinates with local, state and federal guidance pertaining to all of our programs.

We work to ensure the safety of the students we serve and the providers in our network.

All providers are required to follow social distancing and appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment during all of their in-person sessions and evaluations.

Also providers and families are required to participate in Daily Health Screenings.

As such, we will continue to provide therapeutic sessions virtually using secure and compliant software applications to connect with our learners.

Vaccination Finder

Starting Monday, January 11th, New York State will begin scheduling vaccinations for "Phase 1B" groups.  This group includes education workers, including pre-K through 12 teachers and education workers, licensed and registered childcare providers.

Attached you will find a letter which you can bring with you to verify your eligibility at the vaccination site.  It is also recommended that you bring a copy of your SLP license and TSHH/TSLD certificate.

The COVID-19 vaccine has been shown to be safe and effective, and it is encouraged that you get vaccinated.  There is no cost for the vaccine.

Once you have been vaccinated, please keep the vaccination card that you receive in a safe place for future reference.

Where to Get Vaccinated

The City is scaling up distribution sites as part of its commitment to deliver free, safe, and easy access to these vaccines for all New Yorkers.

  1. Dozens of vaccination sites are listed by borough at more being added on a rolling basis.
  2. If you complete the online eligibility tool, the tool will return a list of providers near you that you can contact to schedule an appointment

When to Get Vaccinated

  1. Hours vary by site—be sure to check the website linked above.
  2. We encourage you to get vaccinated outside of normal work hours to minimize service disruption.
  3. Vaccine supply continues to be in high demand, and appointments will fill up. If vaccine appointments at a given location or date are full, please continue to check back as more appointment slots come online.

How to Get Vaccinated

  1. Be sure to follow all instructions about making an appointment among the sites listed at the link above, where applicable.  All vaccinations are by appointment only.
  2. Be aware that you will need to complete the NYS COVID-19 Vaccine Form  in order to get vaccinated. NYS requires the provider administering the vaccine to check that you have completed the form and are eligible.
  3. Bring proof of employment, such as an employee ID card, employer letter, or a recent pay stub.
