PRESCHOOL EVALUATIONS PROCESS AT NYTPS
If you suspect a child has a developmental delay or learning disability, NYTPS, Inc can get you started and assist you in the evaluation process. The first step in the preschool evaluation process begins with the parents. Parents or legal guardians must request an evaluation from the NYC DOE. NYTPS, Inc. can assist you in contacting your local district office and support you through the process.
PRESCHOOL EVALUATIONS FOR CHILDREN 3-5 YEARS
We provide pre-school evaluations for children 3-5 years old in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island. There is NO COST to the family for this service. Evaluations can be administered in either the home or school. Results of the evaluation may indicate that it would be beneficial for your child to receive services to support his/her developmental growth.
OUR PRESCHOOL EVALUATIONS PROCESS INCLUDES:
These services may include Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Special Education Instruction, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Counseling. NYTPS, Inc. office staff members can assist in Spanish.
